This setting can be changed by macros or by other workbooks that you may have opened first. Press Enter to complete the formula. After installing Kutools for Excel please do as follows.
This works fine for 1 or a few formulas but what about if you have several formulas formatted as text.
Click the Calculation Options button at the right of of the navigational ribbon then click the Automatic option. Scroll down to the Formulas section and select the Enable multi-threaded calculation check box so there is a check mark in the box. To enable the multi-threading feature click the FILE tab and select Options to open the Excel Options dialog box as mentioned earlier. Automatic default - tells Excel to automatically recalculate all dependent formulas every time any value formula or name referenced in those formulas is changed.
