Remember you can always copy and paste this symbol if youre having difficulties. To open the equation toolbar go to the insert menu and select Equation. G Math will allow you to insert equations with square roots exponents fractions and more in a professional manner.

Google doesnt have a list of all the available shortcuts. Just write the character in the box on the right side of the Insert special characters window and choose one of the search results that appears. Go back to your document or application and then paste the symbol by pressing Ctrl and V at the same time. Once you have that choose which set of symbols you want to use by simply hovering over it and then selecting the exact one you want.
