Select a blank cell for locating the calculated percentage change then enter formula A3-A2A2 into the Formula Bar and then press the Enter key. Discount new discounted price old regular price old regular price. On the Home tab in the Number group apply a Percentage format.

If you were to find percent change manually you would take an old original value and a new value find the difference between them and divide it by the original value. For example if your earnings are 1250 in January and 1750 in February the percentage change in February compared to January can be calculated in Excel by typing the following formula into any cell of your spreadsheet.
