Define locus in geometry. In a Euclidean space any translation is an isometry. Geometry is often divided into plane geometry and solid geometry.
1 The locus of points equidistant from two given intersecting lines is the bisector of the angles formed by the lines.
It is concerned with properties of space that are related with distance shape size and relative position of figures. As in a game of HORSE or PIG a point in math is an exact location on a plane usually marked by a dot. In another branch of mathematics called coordinate geometry points are located on the plane using their coordinates - two numbers that show where the point is positioned with respect to two number line axes at right angles to each other.
