In recent years however the UK government has changed the format of GCSEs to remove much of the coursework and now assesses and assigns final grades for many subjects based predominantly on the end of course exams.
From what I remember Paper 1 or 2 is the mandatory paper that all candidates must do depending on their level 1 for foundation tier 2 for higher tier. The exam board we do is Edexcel Linear. Hey smarties I need your help. Linear means that students will sit all their exams at the end of the course.
